Description
St. Louis de Montfort school is looking for an educator to complete its team: 5th grade teacher with Multiple Subject Credential.
Responsibilities include creating and implementing ADLA and CA standard-based lessons, utilize formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and support students, experience in differentiating instruction, strong communication with parents, strong classroom management skills, able to integrate technology in daily instructions, and contain a desire to work in a faith-based community.
Selected candidate will:
Be present in school and available for all assigned duties from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday of the school year. Attendance at all faculty meetings, in-service days, retreat days, Parent-Teacher conferences, Back to School, Open House, and other school events as requested by Principal.
Supervise during specified student breaks (recess or lunch) Mass and assemblies
Maintain accurate attendance records

Requirements
Practicing Catholic and knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church
Bachelor’s degree in education or education-related field (MA preferred)
CA teaching credential or enrolled in a CA teaching credential program
Three or more years teaching experience (preferred, experience in a Catholic school setting highly desirable)
Technology skills (familiarity with tech devices and Google Classroom platform) and ability to integrate technology into instruction
Maintain a professional, cooperative, and respectful relationship with all members of the St. Louis de Montfort community
