SPPS is seeking an enthusiastic long-term substitute teacher for a self-contained Fourth Grade classroom of 12 students. This position requires the candidate to design, plan and implement standards-based lessons in all content areas, assess student progress, and work diligently to provide the highest quality of education for our students. The candidate must be able to manage online education programs and be proficient in technology.
The candidate must be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, staff and administration with professionalism. The candidate will be supported in all areas and trained in programs as needed. We have a friendly, supportive school community and we are looking for a great substitute teacher to join our team!
- BA or BS and Teaching Credential (or currently enrolled in a credential program)
- Catholic preferred, but not mandatory

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
