St. Athanasius School, Long Beach, is part of the Microschools Network of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This exciting partnership provides support for schools that are small by design, have multi-age pedagogy, blended learning, and a whole child approach that includes art, PE, music, and gardening. We are seeking a dynamic 3rd/4th grade teacher who wants to help build this unique and innovative program.

Ability to plan and implement a rigorous academic curriculum in line with the Common Core and Archdiocesan standards.

Willingness to collaborate with parents/families and fellow teachers to create and deliver a service-oriented curriculum

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
