Family and Parenting Initiatives and Resources
“In all families the Good News needs to resound, in good times and in bad, as a source of light along the way. All of us should be able to say, thanks to the experience of our life in the family: “We come to believe in the love that God has for us” (1 Jn 4:16). Only on the basis of this experience will the Church’s pastoral care for families enable them to be both domestic churches and a leaven of evangelization in society.”
-Amoris Laetitia, Page 219, Chapter 290
As the Office of Marriage and Family Life, for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, we support families through daily prayer and by striving to provide clergy, staff, volunteers and families themselves with the resources, training and support they need to live out God’s Plan for them as “little churches” of the home.
