The program of formation in Advanced Catechetical Ministries seeks to enable the integration of the participant’s personal faith development with the overall objective of preparing for sharing that faith.
In a three-phase process, participants are introduced to the core themes of Church teaching and catechetical praxis.
The Theology Phase, the Catechetical Phase and the Practicum Phase of the program incorporate a course of studies consistent with the General Directory for Catechesis, National Directory for Catechesis, Catechism of the Catholic Church, United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, Co-Workers in the Vineyard and Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us along with our Archdiocesan Religious Education vision of missionary discipleship.
