Friday of the Fourth Week of Advent

Heart of Darkness

The darkness shimmers with the promise of light. The dawn will soon break upon us, to use Zechariah’s poetic turn of phrase, and with the dawn comes the birth of hope, the birth that will change this world and the next for all time. While our Advent journey may come to an end tonight, the journey of faith we are on lasts a lifetime. Can you continue to spend time with God in prayer each day? Can you make space for the sacred amid the mundane and transform your life from the inside out?
